As a matter of fact, the Kite Runner has more in common with the rest of the S's than it does with other people who might run. As much as one might want to have the characteristics of others, they should not wish to have them all of the time.To understand what you should do with courage, let us first find out what courage is. If you want to write about courage, then you should write about what it means.The definition of courage as defined by Merriam-Webster is: 'strength of character or confidence in one's ability to face or withstand challenges'. The verb that denotes courage is, 'to be courageous'. This applies to the actual act of courageous activity or character, not just the qualities of courage.Courage is considered one of the six qualities necessary for success. This is because being able to face challenges and to overcome difficulties is one of the main ingredients of having a positive outlook. However, courage is not so much about the willingness to face hardships and to be courageous. Courage is also about the will to face those who would try to harm you.Each individual is different. Therefore, having this quality is not as easy as being able to say I'm willing to be courageous.A lot of time and effort can be put into it, but in order to be successful in life, one needs to develop one's own attitude and then work hard at living up to that attitude. Being a stoic is another aspect that needs to be developed.It is also important to have a great sense of humor so that one does not end up getting a late start on the day that you must be an early bird. When that day comes, you will still be early in line if you are able to see it coming. Many people make the mistake of telling themselves that they are capable of facing any challenge. They do not realize that, often, it takes the challenge to motivate them.
